November 2016

Lake Living is what you want it to be. I think we can all agree it’s a time to relax, reflect and

recharge. It’s when you can do just what you want to do, at your own pace.

Here in Northeast Georgia we’re blessed with many scenic lakes. They offer us the opportu-

nity for recreation and provide an economic driver for the communities nestled on their shores.

Tourismplays a big role in our part of the state. It’s not a secret, southern hospitality and endless

opportunities for outdoor recreation abound here.

As the year 2016 races to an end, there’s not a better place to look back and plan forward than

Northeast Georgia. There’s just something about a warm fire, cup of coffee and the viewof open

water. Folks, I believe you understand.

This is our holiday edition and in it you’ll find products and services offered enthusiastically

by our advertisers. These local shops, restaurants and businesses help create our charmand keep

the spirit of entrepreneurship alive and thriving. They’re here to provide you with the best ser-

vices and products possible.

Lake Living magazine is a publication of a group of local newspapers that belong to the parent company

Community Newspapers, Inc. I have the pleasure of working with these writers and designers. And as I pause

for a little “Lake Living,” I realize how fortunate I am to serve our readers with them.

Here’s to 2016 and bring on 2017. But let’s all remember, no matter how busy our lives get, we must schedule

plenty of time for Lake Living!
